Ferry — sending onward

Ferry (⇢) is a fifth verb, but an outbound one. Roll, file, gather, and scratch all keep a scrap inside 48pages — a task, the cabinet, gathered, struck out. Ferry instead carries the scrap onward to another app entirely. Like the others it leaves a full-footprint scar (⇢ ferried → …) so the page keeps the record that it went out; nothing is deleted. The verb only shows up once you've connected a destination in Settings → Onward.

Two destinations, set up under Settings → Onward. TheSlot — an editorial board: you paste a key it gives you, kept sealed under your master key so the 48pages server never sees it. Endpaper — a writing app: keyless, so ferrying just opens your logged-in Endpaper to receive the draft. Connect either or both; each shows up as its own choice when you ferry.

With a destination connected, ⇢ joins roll/file/scratch on a scrap (and appears on a filed cabinet entry too). Pick where it goes; on success the ⇢ ferried scar appears and that scrap can't be re-sent to the same place. Unlike the other verbs, a ferry can fail — offline, a bad key, a blocked pop-up — and on failure it leaves no scar, so you can just try again.

Yes — 48pages is zero-knowledge, so your own device decrypts the scrap and hands the plaintext straight to the receiver. The 48pages server is never in the loop and never sees what you send. The connection key you paste for TheSlot is sealed under your master key like everything else.
